TE - I dare say yes - hoping Davis finally breaks out, as he should be a stud, but Kitselman was a really nice surprise last year too.

Defense - that was one hell of a defense, so upgrading would be very optimistic

Honest question. Do you not think the Sheriff trained their child in safe gun practice? Since the son was 20 wouldn't it be possible that the Sheriff trusted the their child with the gun lock? Especially if they had gun safety training? (All speculation of course) If so, what more could the Sheriff do?

Shoot, all probabilities drop a couple tiers...but I'm not ready to say ugly is likely.

But making the playoffs went from unlikely, but quite possible to very unlikely. And that should be the goal. So if it's a sudden pipedream, imo...if I were an investor and UT football was my asset...I'd be looking to drop the bag next year...not this one on some 1 year rentals.

For what it's worth, it feels like the tone on the VQ podcast has changed as far as the kind of QB we're going to bring in from the portal. Tuesday they were very much in the "getting a depth guy" camp, but now they're talking like we're going after a real guy. No names or anything, just interesting how that has changed since the portal opened, and lines up with what @Mrpeabody8888 was saying about how Tennessee is being very careful about not giving off the appearance of tampering. It would just make sense that the VQ guys would be in the dark until after the portal opened for that reason.

Anyway, Big Fish confirmed, 16-0 incoming obviously, Go Vols.

His leaving resets expectations lower, which honestly might be a good thing for the fanbase

I think our IOL is potentially a level above last season. We loved Spraggins, but Pendleton is better. Karic to Moe is clear upgrade. Satterwhite is unproven but more advanced an athlete than Cooper May.

Agree 100%. I think as our line is constructed, it will be much improved. I love Cooper, but he was limited physically. Guards are much improved with new guys. Heard believes this is a contract year for him. I expect him to be much improved. Get a Wr and I am worried about safety. I think we have to upgrade there. Some good ones in portal too.

Thank you. I’ll give him he made some good throws in the Alabama game (and one really dumb one) but any game manager last year would have had similar results.
