Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I applied to positions at UF and UT. I interviewed at UT last year but was passed up, though they said they were still interested and would have future positions they encouraged me to apply for. We'll see if that's true! Y'all keep your fingers crossed for me.

I was also informed today that I was approved by my department for promotion to Full Professor. Hopefully that goes smoothly up the chain!

@Orangeredblooded ,figured I'd share in here since you ask occasionally, and others can help us pray. The California bladder thing that didn't work out may be back on the table now. Mayo has been working with her Dr here, and got her tube's out of her kidneys. She's fair, and the case worker for my insurance asked her what happened with the whole bladder thing. She explained the tubes caused more infection, the funding wasn't there like the Dr's hoped, etc. The case worker asked if Tiffany cared if she called the Dr herself, she's been talking with her for over a year trying to help. Anyway, looks like we're going to go meet the Dr's, and discuss the surgery. Not only did the case worker get our travel and lodging fully funded, but the complete cost of the transplant if they do it. I get they'd get recognition for a breakthrough procedure since they funded it, but talk about God opening a door. We'd completely quit thinking about it, but looks like we're heading out there to discuss the possibility.

Anyone that wants a wild trip down memory lane... It was a fairly common debate when he came here whether or not he had character concerns and would create a culture problem.

Turned out to be one of the biggest class acts you could possibly find in this sport.
Yep. He's the real McCoy.

Congrats!! Which university are you at now?

One of the most underrated shows. We need many more seasons of IT Crowd.

Though Richard Ayoade does have an excellent travel show om streaming - Travel Man. And Chris O'Dowd is on an episode too.
So many great episodes. My wife and I love it.

Awesome man..If Glitch ever asks you to go on a one hour boat tour, dont go. You will be stuck on an island for a decade.

Euphemism of the day: Business losses referred to as negative operating surpluses.
I'm all for turning a phrase and creating a euphemism, but that's just a contradiction. Using a synonym for positive doesn't mean you use the word negative before it. Thumbs down from me.

Like saying positive losses.
