I don't listen to Basilio often, but did today because Watson Brown was on the show. Watson believes TN will blow out NC State. For anyone that doesn't know, Watson is Mack Browns brother and has been a HC himself in college football.

And for anyone wondering, both Watson brothers are Cookeville natives and starred at CHS before playing at Vandy. Folks may have forgotten that Watson was the Vandy coach for a short bit before Jerry DiNardo. Good family, despite their Vandy ways.

I thought that was one of the most nonsensical takes last season.

Always ignored is every gameplan and the scripting is primarily Heupel’s handiwork. The narrative last season made more ridiculous when you compare the offense credited to Golesh with Milton vs with Hooker. Halzle had a full dashboard of Milton. It’s no swipe at Milton to acknowledge the offense ran better with ONE. What many were waiting to view with Nico was the pace when he was THE GUY. You saw it…especially in the red zone. He had the offense snapping lightning fast after the refs spotted the ball. It was a clinic.

I know this has been posted before, but these back to back Thornton passes had me giggling like a schoolgirl.



How crazy that in this calendar year we’ve got to see some of the best athletes to ever step on campus. In all sports. Knecht to Burke to Moore to Nico to Pearce, and we’re just getting started.

It was for the sacrificial lambs who volunteered to test out the new forum format way back when. Pretty cool experience. Freak tested out all kinds of different looks, settings, and we were just test dummies who got to say what we liked or didn’t like or what worked and what didn’t.

We were rewarded with the badge of honor.

The big controversy that never got settled though was the lost likes. I’d like to think they’re still floating out there waiting to come home.

It looked white and gold one time to me...and then every other time I've seen that picture it looks blue and black to me.

It also looked white and gold to me, but then when you look at it and scroll out of the picture, it turns into the white becomes supposed blue. Crap, it’s football season, why am I or anyone else posting about what anyone color is a dang dress. IT’S FOOTBALL TIME! Forget the dang dress unless any of you are trying to decide what to wear on your next date.

I applied to positions at UF and UT. I interviewed at UT last year but was passed up, though they said they were still interested and would have future positions they encouraged me to apply for. We'll see if that's true! Y'all keep your fingers crossed for me.

I was also informed today that I was approved by my department for promotion to Full Professor. Hopefully that goes smoothly up the chain!

You go kid!!!! Sorry, I’m old AF, but I love hearing younger people reaching and not giving up. Way to go kiddo! Excuse an old woman for using ‘kid’ or ‘kiddo’. What you’re accomplishing is great.
