I can't like this post, but Staes played a good bit. I am unsure of how reliable this is.

If you simply listen to AP and TOS you can clearly tell Staes is 3rd and is not quite ready for SEC. Kitselman is the opposite and has surprised. He's for sure our blocking guy and Davis is for sure our reciever guy. Staes has not excelled at their level in either, but he might. On the whole it has worked out and Staes can progress.

Teaming up with? Not sure on the cause and effect. Mycelia have been directing human development for centuries, including the invention of robotics (and of course Velcro) so they will have bodies and can walk among their subjects. They got bored with our slow rate of development, so they recently jump started AI to speed up the process.
