Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Good looking fish. Can you tell a big difference from earlier in the year. Definitely looks like they've put on some weight.
Yes, they have. I noticed a couple of weeks ago most of the bullfrog tadpoles just disappeared, those bass were gorging themselves on them cause we had them in all life stages and now not one to be found. I couldn't be more pleased with them so far.

Can you remember the last time you've had the wind knocked out of you?
Yes, been a looooong time. Playing fullback in high school and the coach was mad at the defense for lack of effort and called out the play before the snap.......20 blast and I got destroyed. Still the hardest I've ever been hit on a football field. Got lit up and landed on the ball. Then he went on to call the guy who hit me a t-shirt all american for lighting me up when he knew what play was coming.

I cant remember. I can remember a couple times it happened, but can't remember which one was most recent. . . I do remember it sucked really bad, 😂

Scariest one I ever had, I was a dback and tried to come diving over a scrimmage line pile to get to the rb but I didn't see the bigass guard that had a bead on me. I came in horizontally and took the full impact straight to the top of my helmet. Felt like my whole body accordioned and every bit of air left my lungs.

Wasn't the first time I'd had the wind knocked out of me so I'd been through the whole trying to force air back into your lungs thing before, but the fact that it had happened from a blow to the top of my head rather than to my chest scared the hell out of me in the moment.

Once I got breathing again and realized everything was still moving I figured I was okay but it still gives me the willies to think about.

Never heard of it happening like that before. Has to be the scariest feeling outside of a real injury. I really thought I was dying the first time it happened.
