Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I once met Starlito by these projects in Nashville I forget the name. They were by Rosa L Parks school. I want to say on 14th st & Hillside. I met Buck as well when I lived in Nashville, strange guy
He always was, people sleep on Nashville, it was always harder than people realized. Those projects are torn down and part of a new development I think.

I had lifelong friends I grew up on the South side, but I always stood out there because I was white..... but I hung around and knew some of these guys through common interests.

You're right Buck was a weird dude, still is. He lives northwest of Nashville in an area near Ashland City. I lived nearby. Last I heard he was living with a transvestite who has been his girlfriend for years.

Yea I heard about those things Buck are into. I know where Ashland City is also, I lived in Nashville from 2013-2018. Met a lot of life long friends and really really good people, good times man. It’s definitely a second home to me.

If you are on the fence to make the trip then think again. This is our NC ride. Don't look back in regret.

I may regret saying that, but I feel it.
I am just happy to have an elite team again...we may have a decent shot at it, but it's too soon to really say that with any real reasonable confidence.

I'm nervous about tommorow...and not really about losing, but this game will tell us a lot more about what we have, and I WANT it to be awesome.

I've let myself get a little too comfortable in my expectation for this game...the last time I did that about a big football game was against USC in 22....I haven't since then against a team with a pulse.

What sucks is that particular game may not be a reliable indicator because of the specter of cheating...but you don't KNOW that is what happened. So...there is still that doubt that a Heupel team can have such a bad anomaly in them.

I'm just sleepy...and rambling incoherently...🥱

Go Vols!...destroy this Puppy Pack!

Everyone is going to be watching and there is a reason they sent the A team broadcast crew. It's truly Nico's chance to announce himself on the CFB stage and start becoming a household name.

I think I mentioned this before. Wife worked as a travel nurse in Nashville for a couple years. She was car jacked and my car ended up on the news (police helicopter chasing and all). Finally got it back and the stench of weed was too much.

Then, another nurse was run over while police were chasing a thug with his kid in the car. The nurse didn't survive. Kind of left a sour taste about Nashville.

There's no way that SC jr team that barely showed a pulse elsewhere came up and Deboed two superior opponents back to back..... There is only one explanation.

With that said it's irrelevant today. We have a QB that is more athletic, with a better arm that seems to have a decent grasp of the system with better weapons top to bottom. If the line can protect and the young untested defense answer the bell we could be as good as anyone in country.

And as inexperienced as the secondary is it should only get better as the year goes. Tomorrow is a test, no doubt, but we pass this exam tomorrow. Heupel will have them ready!

We couldn't cover them or tackle lol

Welp... Do not like the Packers chances with Malik running the show. Not at all. Where's Dobbs when you need him.

Packers at Titans in week 3. Could be a very interesting game. I have to admit, Malik going off in that game and beating us would honestly be hilarious.

Stay out of Memphis for sure

Parts of Nashville are crazy. My mother was carjacked twice in two years at. Murfreesboro Rd grocery store before they moved it.

He was on point, a little after my time in the scene but I was very aware of him.

I forgot Young Buck but everyone knows about him. But they might not know who... And what he's doing now LOL. I actually preferred Tay's style when he and Buck were a duo I liked his approach but Buck had the charisma.
Young Buck was/is a weird dude. When I was living in Murfreesboro he used to come into the store I worked at every week or two. He’d always be driving his Corvette with the Lambo doors right up to the front door and leave it running. As soon as we saw him pull up one of us would just immediately walk to the back to see if we had any all white Air Force 1s in his size because that’s what he came in for every time. It was usually on a weekend afternoon where he was trying to get some fresh ones for the night I guess. Never bought anything else besides the shoes.
