Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Win or lose. Tyson gets my respect,
mother trucker is a hoss at 58. He didnt take this as a joke, or a publicity stunt. Dude is laser focused in the gym, and is a dog. Still a freaking hoss on body bag.

He may not whip this dude, but he sure as **** looks like he could. And where theres smoke, there's fire.

LOL, when your fully padded trainer has to take a break...
I think this fight is fixed. I think Tyson is gonna get a huge payday to lose. And he may be taking a dive just to help out a no talent YouTuber get a little more fame.

Kirby can have all the fuel he wants, but at the end of the day they are who they are. As long as we don’t let the environment overwhelm us, I think we’re actually the better team. And that’s amazing that Heupel has accomplished that in a short amount of time.
We need to weather the first quarter and the energy they will have to start the game. If we can somehow start fast and jump up 7-0 or 10-0, we can take the crowd out and demoralize them.

I believe Tyson when he said that the difference between him and Paul was Paul was a manufactured killer and Tyson was a natural born killer. He had that look he's had when he's interviewed about where boxing takes him (dark place). The risk you run chasing after a tiger is catching it by the tail and getting bit.

I think there is a strong chance Tyson could knock him out. Maybe it is a show but Tyson doesn't strike me as a showman like Mayweather.

This is a bad man with a dark part to him. Love what he made of himself.

I think it was planned as a show originally but listening to Tyson on Rogan talk about why he having to quit working out and training because it brought out the other side leads me to believe that Tyson is out to really hurt Paul.

The last RB to win it all was DH and he put up 189+ yards in 5 of his 7 last games heading into the Heisman. Sampson's career high is 149...

Voters care about volume carries and yards. And we're not a workhorse style offense. Never will be.
There's no way DS is going to win the Heisman. You think the CFP is a joke, the Heisman committee is epitome of a political beast. It's the Downtown Athletic Club, downtown NYC. Nobody from Tennessee is ever going to win. Johnny and Peyton say hi. Johnny lost to a guy on a losing Nuter Lame team and they gave it to defensive player from Bitchigan over Peyton. The Heisman is a meaningless award.

I’m struggling to see the logic with us being eliminated IF we lose to Georgia. Let’s say that happens.

Ole Miss and Bama have the head to head against Georgia so if they both win out they’ll go to SEC championship.

Texas and Texas A&M play and I believe A&M will get their third loss.

If Bama or Ole Miss lose in SEC championship they’ll have a 3rd loss. Heck, if Georgia lost to Texas in a rematch they’d have a third loss.

In my estimation it is more probable that of the 5 SEC teams in contention for 4 spots that it is likely 2 will get a third loss.

If Texas loses it’s a crapshoot but we should win our final two games at a minimum and have a legitimate shot.
Let’s just go

15-1🤠

And leave no doubt.

You guys watch the Clown show, Tyson vs Paul at 8:00 p.m. on Netflix.

I will be watching the other clown shown that comes on at 8:00 p.m. Friday Night Smackdown. Nothing like Wrassling on Friday Nights.

I'm sure the replay will be on Netflix for a month.

We’re averaging 37.5 ppg and giving up 12.1 ppg

Not too bad
What is our average score in SEC games? That’s a better metric.

SEC:
Vols: 24.5 average points per game
Opponents: 16.7 average points per game.

I still like that comparison.
I would be fine with a score of Vols 25 uga 17.

I prefer an absolute annihilation of the dawgs, but even a 1 point win in a double overtime game would be acceptable at this point. Especially if it gives kirby his 3rd conference loss and eliminates uga from any chance of a playoff spot.

15-1 🤠

There can be only one! And that’s our Tennessee Volunteers! (Wanted to be crystal clear for the VN trolls and LOM members)

Very true, i do think there's something to be said for how that type of back is a dying breed at both levels. Henry is one of a kind obviously and still doing it, but most backfields have some type of carry sharing and load management now.

That season, Henry averaged 5.6ypc. Sampson is currently averaging 5.6ypc. Jeanty is currently averaging 7.7ypc.

Jeanty and Henry average(d) more touches per game than Sampson is. I think 10 years ago Sampson is probably getting 5-10 more touches per game and he would FIRMLY be in Heisman talks.

It's hard to justify Sampson winning over Jeanty is it was a contest between the two, RIGHT NOW, bc of the stats, but if Sampson has a massive game on this massive stage I think it would at least get him to New York.
Jeanty would not be eligible if the Heisman were a legit award. He plays in the Mountain West for the love of God, super inferior competition. He is a lighter Rocket Sanders. DS would have 3,000 yds against those teams.
