Tbf they did score 31+ the previous 5 SEC games before facing the sack leader, by far, in the country.
I don't see them reaching 30, but mid 20s wouldn't be a surprise, unless our offense can play better. But if we rack up 3 and outs and penalties like they have too often this year (and the last 3 times facing UGA's defense), their offense will simply land in plus territory by happenstance too often.
We need the LB's best game of the year and DL to be in Beck's face all night. Do that, win the TO battle by 2+, and we have a real shot.
Just not sure how this offense will respond coming off 6 weeks of not having to play on the road, Nico's injury, and now the UGA defense and environment which always seems to bother us.
Nice test to see if Heupel can keep this team playing above expectations. And I'm sure he's happy for the chance to prove it. Fingers crossed the rubber meets the road.
