What would the post of the year candidates be?

The 2 years post regarding Juco and Miss state come to mind.

Any others?

Nominate another best rival poster for Palmer.

Wonder how he's enjoying the Clemson run.

Thanks for the nomination NLV!

Most likely to lose his self-proclaimed insider status when the #1 QB that he has a tenuous connection to flips to Clemson out of the blue = I have the sad

Thank you, Volunteer_Kirby, and you are very close to the mark. My official job description is "Resident Tennessee Football Historian for Vol Nation."

By the way, who was it that used to do those extraordinarily detailed weekly updates during the stretch drive of recruiting season? As a bare minimum, he deserves to recognized as "the Ultimate Source" or "Recruiting Editor Extraordinaire"?

Excellent, entertaining and highly innovative thread topic, by the way, Engineer Vol.

Harkening back to that old commercial, "When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen," LWSVol would have to be the "E.F. Hutton of Vol Nation."

Is it BrilloVol who does the colorful and emoji-filled "Booms" with the big orange monorail train when we get a commit?

He deserves "most grateful Vol"

I'd like to add Fingers to this list as well

Knew I was forgetting someone. Think I just know him as "Oakland A's pitcher with handlebar mustache." And now that I Google it, I realize that Rollie Fingers is actually the name of that pitcher.

Not me but your right. I would also nominate that guy for most consistent boomer. He must have a happy wife.

PassedOutAwake (sp?), aka POA, IIRC. Those threads were great.
