So now the rumor is that Gruden contacted Lane Kiffin on Wed researching about the Tennessee job, supposedly Kiffin gave it a huge endorsement.

Swan Man on VQ, who has proven to be legit said that it was "DEAD-ON" to what's happening.

It would also back up to what Hubbs is saying about Gruden researching the job.

I still think its all a pipe dream, Dooley is back in 2013 whether he "deserves" it or not IMO.

I think they're getting bored and they have to up the dramatic ante. What better way than to add Kiffin into the storyline.

If, keyword being if, UGA wins out and beats an UNDEFEATED Bama in the SECCG then it would probably put UGA in NC game. The computers don't like Oregon a whole lot right now.

In my world of picking the lesser of all evils, I'm quietly pulling for UGA this year. They are the only major SEC football program that doesn't have a BCS title and I'd love to see the Tide get beaten in the SEC championship game. Plus, have lots and lots of friends that went there.

In the end, I want the SEC to keep the title and for some reason i just dislike all of the other teams more than I do UGA this year.

You think UF only has one loss by year end? I think FSU could take them down. Florida still has real issues on offense. They did enough to get by at times earlier in the year, but their luck seems like it's starting to run out.

I tend to think there's probably some truth to this rumor. Rumors that he's already accepted it are what I don't believe. I also doubt he'll come to Tennessee in the end, so I'm not losing sleep over it. Would be great if he did, though!

Agreed with the last statement. I really think that they did well enough Saturday to keep Dooley's job as long as we win out. I don't know that I really like that though.

I appreciate that. I'd say CMR is long overdue for a crystal ball, it just has not come together since he's been here.

CMR is a cool guy. Wouldn't care if you guys won it. I don't want Bama with another ring period. I would cheer for any team outside the conference against them too. I hate that team and their fanbase. All I hear staying in Bama is "RTR" and the "Saban has it on Cruise Control". I want them with a loss. I really think this game will be hard on them. I also don't think their defense is built for a spread like Texas A&M. Florida and LSU have defenses that are faster. While Bama is built to bully an offense. We'll see what goes down.

How can we let Dooley coach another year he doesn't deserve it. 4 sec wins? that's awful. I think he's a good guy but its obvious this job is way to big for him. I just cant think of another time Tennessee History a coach has started out back to back season 0 and 5 in conference games and not fired. I thought hart was supposed to have what it takes to get it done unlike Hamilton. Could are AD be that bad? The dudes got talent this year and we have nothing to show for it
