With all the RBs we've been offering lately I'm surprised we haven't gone after Kimani Vidal. He has been terrific his SR year for Marietta. He can block and catch out of the backfield and is a powerful runner.
it looks like they are going after bigger bruiser type of running backs.

Has a lot to do with it to me. To whom much is given much is required. It would be the equivalent to a coach at a major football program missing a bowl game in his 5th season.
This is stupid thinking though, it doesn't take into consideration what we lost. Barnes isn't a one and done wonder like Calamari, and the depth to absorb that much loss was not there. Money ain't got a dang thing to do with how many games we win this year. If Barnes got a billion dollars it wasn't going to change the reality of this years roster problems.

Did anyone notice at like the 1:43 minute mark, Guarantano throws the ball with what likes like only his thumb on the laces? I had not noticed that before, seems like a weird grip. Although, I don't know if he throws it with that grip all the time or not.
Somebody mentioned that realtime in the game thread which astounded me

Why do we not push the ball up the floor and at least see if anything is there. If nothing is there then get into a secondary break and run your offense. We don’t try and get any quick easy baskets. We make it hard on ourselves.

So if Pruitt is going into his 5th season at Tennessee and misses a bowl game because he lost a crop of seniors from the year before, would that be cool? I don't think so. Isn't exactly the same thing with basketball and football but I think it's a pretty fair comparison. He's paid 4.7 million to coach guys up and replace them with quality guys when they leave. With that being said I do think Rick will get this team to the tournament.

We already recruit the sh!t out of Georgia-- and Georgia is not like Florida beating our ass for a decade straight.. And also we pulled Henry T from Cali last year.. pretty damn good.

If you build it they will come. Our primary recruiting will always be the Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, Alabama and Tennessee. But you build a brand and it's easier to get the kids from Texas, California, Louisiana, Florida.

I think we agree more than we disagree.
