Malzhan didn't leave Auburn for Arkansas after the 17 season because he didn't believe you could win a conference or national title at Arkansas. At best they're probably the eighth best program in this league.

Like when Bobby Petrino was there Arky can a better job than Miss, Miss St, Vandy, Ky, Mizzou...thats about it. I think its close, but USCe is a better job.

I think there's seven programs who are capable of winning it all in this league and Arkansas isn't one of those. I'd probably put South Carolina ahead of them as well.

Players are going to go to Florida no matter who’s coaching there so I’m not worried about that. Basically every time Florida has had a great QB they have won a natty so id rather then not have a QB guru like Mullen.

Y'all talking like Butch was Derek Dooley. He ultimately imploded in 1 climactic season, but until then he was pretty decent. If he learned from his micromanaging of a $2m DC and S&C issues, he'd be a fine coach for smaller market teams. He just wasn't a good fit for a job of this magnitude. He'd be an upgrade over Chad Morris, that much is clear.

I believe there would be too much red tape to overcome before that hire could happen. He's a good coach though but most universities frown on relationships with spouses of employees.
