I’m glad the team is improving, just not in tears from being proud quite yet.No I’m in fact tearing up at the fact we are currently 3rd in the East under the circumstances. Considering where we were coming from,I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not but it’s not 98 anymore and hasn’t been..tennessee football has been down and sitting 3rd right now in the east at year two is impressive in its self.
lol! I bet he had some stories!
(Not to be a pedant, but for info only: 58, if you mean Billy Cannon's punt return to beat Ole Miss. 59 was "the stop" in Knoxville when the Vols stopped the Canon on the 2-point conversion to beat LSU.)
I looked these things up because "The run," as LSU fans call that punt return, gets played down here every year when LSU and Ole Miss play.
People who live in Baton Rouge claim if you weren't at the game you could hear the roar all over town before the radio call came through.
When we went there in 2016, it was actually a really cool experience. And they were LOUD. On 3rd down, on 1st down, during commercial breaks, even halftime. The only time I remember the stadium getting quiet was on the strip fumble touchback to keep us in the game.Geez a&m fans/ yell leaders are so cringy
