We suffered so many indignities under Dooley. Couldn't gain a yard on the ground AND couldn't even field a punt for an entire season. I remember it was a huge victory when we got Devrin Young simply because he could field punts without dropping them.

Wow, Devrin. I forgot about him. He came in with so much hype yet I don’t think he every broke a punt. He gave his all though because I thought he was going to die every time he returned a kick. Man, those days seem so long ago.

I think they would have a really hard time with Clemson. Clemson is going to score and they have a good enough defense to stop LSU at least some drives. I think Clemson has a better offense than Bama and a much better defense and Bama almost got them. Etienne would pile up yards.

I agree...Clemson is the most balanced team among the top 5 imo.

Once leagues shift toward wide open, big 12 style offenses...defenses suddenly and not so magically, appear worse. See Bama vs LSU 2019 vs 2011. It's the offenses.

Clemson or OSU probably...UGA should win it all with that defense and all that talent on offense, but their coaching is . LSU ain't gonna win with that crap defense.

It's ironic that for all these years LSU had such an awesome stifling defense, but horrid offense...now they have a awesome offense and horrid defense lol..you hate to see it..
