There, didn't need a UK/UL rematch the entire time.

Starting out the way we did in the beginning of the season for starters?...any other team would have quit also adding to the fact down the stretch we were thin and injured.

GSU loss doesn't affect it. It's to avoid the UK vs Louisville rematch. I would imagine we actually had dibs on the Gator Bowl but compromised for MCB due to logistics, expenses, recruiting, etc. Seems there's negotiation for some of these lower-tier bowls.
