Obviously tea has other benefits, but I bought some caffeine tablets off myprotein for a measly $3 or so. 200 tablets, each worth a cup of coffee. With some morning Theanine, a perfectly smooth morning boost. Zero intestinal or full-stomach effects coffee + creamer (especially ones with artifical sugar) can bring, for a fraction of the price. And no teeth stains of coffee.

You were right, myprotein has dirt cheap stuff. Bought about 5 items, protein, creatine, caffeine, a nootropic stack, and a mixer mug for a ridiculous $35 or so.
Das it mane

I choose what I teach in my classroom (not every teacher has that luxury) and I taught personal finance as part of my Economics curriculum because I knew it was the most important thing they could learn. The issue I found was lack of receptiveness at an age when most of my students still have mom and dad paying for everything. Some students that were receptive still thank me years later as adults for teaching them that. Learning that stuff before they become adults will impact their life more than anything else they learn in school.

I agree. I do the same. As a JROTC instructor I too have some flexibility on what I teach and how much time I spend on it. Unfortunately I have a lot of other important topics to cover also, so I can't spend as much time on it as I'd like. And yes, many aren't motivated at that point to learn it. I believe the results show that personal finance is a much needed topic for high schoolers to learn.

The best part of waking up is Ayahuasca in your cup.

What makes me think if I drink that I’ll get to meet Billy The Kid Emilio Estevez version?

They don't wanna stick around and win that coveted Sun Belt Conference Championship?

KD Nixon is leaving early. Pretty sure Butch recruited him. Some said he was too small and didn’t think he was a great prospect. Moss at Utah and Ingle at NC State are others who have contributed.

Letter from IRS today says I owe thousands of dollars.

Merry Christmas Everyone

Literally just closed my browser window with the IRS website pulled up after paying them thousands of dollars online....for the 4th time this year.

Not having to deal with the 8-5 office grind is amazing, until tax time, that is.

God painted the picture then framed it with the snow. Evokes memories of how I envision Walden Pond to look.

Beautiful my friend. Very lucky. Most folks would walk past that with a fleeting glance.

I recall spending lot's of time outdoors in my youth, coincidentally while reading the Emerson's, Whitman's, & Thoreau's in HS. Ok. Nerd time is over...

Do you stock that pond? If so, do you allow fly rods?

Ever actually been to Walden Pond? The one time I went many years ago, I had really built it up in my head as a place of surpassing beauty that inspires poetry in your soul. Then when I get there I walk up and see this type of scene:

(yes, that's Walden, not my pic though) My first impression was bitter disappointment and revulsion, although the fat pasty guy in speedos that walked past me may have played a part in it as well. It does get better the farther you walk away from the people but like 20-30 minutes later you're back around to them again.

Admittedly, it probably doesn't speak well of me that I saw a horde of nasty people fouling a pristine natural setting instead of seeing a bunch of happy families enjoying a local swimming hole like I've done myself many times, but to my knowledge no one ever wrote a transcendent book called Melton Hill.
