I never completely left. Still checked in quite often, just stopped posting.

Almost died back in Oct 2018, because of a 6 week non diagnosis of diverticulitis. I was in and out of the hospital so much, my insurance company sent me a letter "explaining" when to go to the hospital.

My white blood count was 20,000 plus (normal is 4-7 thousand), but for 6 weeks they didn't do anything except put me on the same antibiotics over and over again...until my body just started shutting down. A surgeon finally figured it out. They gutted me like a pig. Took out a large chunk of my intestines and gave me a new butthole in my stomach, with a plastic bag attached. Talk about fun.

Long story short. Finally had a reversal surgery done a few months ago. After several months in the gym and a lot of protein "mixtures?". I'm finally back to kicking azz and taking names health.

Doctor that finally figured out what was wrong told me it was the first time he had ever seen anyone as healthy as me have diverticulitis. Before it was all over, I had lost about 70 lbs. I got down to under 130 lbs and looked like a death camp survivor.

Glad you made it out alive..........

Officially going to the bowl game... Row 409.

Sorry y'all.
Sending escorts to Row 49 scheduled for 1/2/20 @10:30 PM EST as we speak...enjoy KittyCartilage. Heads up - they will take you back to the HoJo by the bridge.

They heard you were a deli man, so be sure to bring the meat.

What’s your thinking on the state of the program? Think Jeremy will get it done?
He had better. I put a lot of damn money ( and colorful words) into making the freaking change.

Seriously. We are heading in the right direction. The future looks very promising under Pruitt...but even if he's not the guy to get us all the way there, I believe he will at least get us almost there. My personal feelings? I would love for him to be the guy. He's a less polished, even more country, 2010's version of Phil Fulmer.

That’s good to hear. I think he’ll have this thing rolling if he’s here long enough. My only real fear with him is when that Alabama job opens up, he’ll want it.

Holy cow. Glad they figured it out.

Drink whiskey and rub some dirt on it didn't work?

Glad you're ok @BaldBiker. These sumbeeches have been getting lippy without you around to keep em in line. @SergeantVol certainly hasn't been doing squat to help.

What does one have to do in order to avoid diverticulitis?

As a sidenote: while I was on my deathbed, I had a sitdown with God and Satan (oh and Nick Saban is NOT Satan, Satan is taller too), neither one of them wanted me, so they sent me back to torture your poor souls until they could figure out what to do with me.
Cool! You can take over for Bruin...been pulling double duty! 😏

It's always so hard to tell. I really thought Butch may not get us quite all the way there, but leave us much better off and close to the upper echelon (long-term stability trending upward). Yet, in all of 12 months, he heelturned us into falling off the cliff.

We don't have much experience in such rollercoaster tenures and I'm hoping Butch was an anomaly. Most coaches that move us upward keep that trajectory or at least level off. The important change for CBJ after 2015 was losing the S&C coach and DC. IF Pruitt can hold onto Fitz, Chaney, Ansley for a 3-5 year period, I think he can have us in a sustainable, long-term winning apparatus.

Butch had us in that zone temporarily, but lost what made him successful. Pruitt just needs continuity in his staff and he will get us over the hump, for good.

Wouldn't be sad if we only signed 23 HS recruits this year...bring me Cade and Beal!
Won’t happen but it would give us flexibility on transfers or allow us to backcount in next year’s loaded class.
