Almost died back in Oct 2018, because of a 6 week non diagnosis of diverticulitis. I was in and out of the hospital so much, my insurance company sent me a letter "explaining" when to go to the hospital.

My white blood count was 20,000 plus (normal is 4-7 thousand), but for 6 weeks they didn't do anything except put me on the same antibiotics over and over again...until my body just started shutting down. A surgeon finally figured it out. They gutted me like a pig. Took out a large chunk of my intestines and gave me a new butthole in my stomach, with a plastic bag attached. Talk about fun.

Long story short. Finally had a reversal surgery done a few months ago. After several months in the gym and a lot of protein "mixtures?". I'm finally back to kicking azz and taking names health.

Doctor that finally figured out what was wrong told me it was the first time he had ever seen anyone as healthy as me have diverticulitis. Before it was all over, I had lost about 70 lbs. I got down to under 130 lbs and looked like a death camp survivor.

I was shocked a few months back when I brought this up at a family gathering. My mom taught elementary school for some decades at both Ball Camp and Hardin Valley. She's a huge softie, loves kids, and has won awards for her teaching. Parents, students, everyone loves her and she's very understanding (again...huge softie).

I brought the story up and she immediately responded saying it was hardly bullying and scoffed at it. Said kids are laughed at by each other all the time and real bullying is much worse. I didn't know what to say 😐 other than...but...but...UT kid...in Florida...ok maybe it wasn't "bullying" but kid was laughed at...in Florida...eff Florida. That's all. If a Floridian is doing something, then it's wrong. Case closed, ma!

That’s kind of a tough absurd stance considering her being an adult Faculty member/teacher.its her job to teach respect and guidance to be nice and treat others the way you want to be treated...laughing at someone isn’t the way especially being singled out in such a manner...that’s kinda like her saying that’s none of my business so I’m gonna walk the other way.not right at all but then again I could be reading this wrong.

Research shows it does take fathers much longer for that to happen. Both have an infatuation period, but the mother's affection usually stays high. The father's dips and takes a gradual climb over some months, if not years. You're not unusual

Yeah I went on a dad Reddit to see if I was alone. Told my wife he’s like a chore one night😂😂😂. She loved that
