Lol...mine is almost 14 months..but alas I have failed as a father..my son is an UGA leghumper, and his wife is a Crappabubbagumper

My son always was close with his Georgia cousins on his moms side, and he is Georgia born...so he comes by it honest..he is not a bandwagon fan, and he does like the Vols, and loves going to UT games with me.

Sad, sad tragedy at the back end of the Mt. Juliet Christmas parade yesterday afternoon. Apparently a 7 yr old fell off a float, was rushed to Vanderbilt and later died from injuries sustained. I haven't heard all the details but this is so tragic, especially this time of year.

Your great, great grandfather Joe Wheeler, as in the one whose namesake has a state park, a reservoir, and a National Wildlife Refuge in Alabama? If so, that is awesome. Might be a different Joe Wheeler, but if not, very interesting history involving this gentleman.

Sorry if that was misleading. My grandfather was named after Joe Wheeler, and his siblings were named after others because their grandparents fought in the CW.

Very interesting !! My Great - Great Grandfater was involved in the Great Train Race (Later to become a Disney Movie). The Yanks hyjacked a train around Marietta with the intensions of destroying the lines on their way back to Chattanooga. IF successful, the war would have ended MUCH sooner. The Rebs found out and the chase was on ending around Ringold. Current Museum with The General steam locomotive is in Kennesaw,Ga. Been their before and when they found out my ancestory, I was treated like royalty !! Funny.....

Love it! One of mine was a spy for Hood. He was cut off when Hood retreated at Nashville, but he and the 4 men with him kept sneaking into the Yankee camps at night and killing some in their tents. When they found out who he was they burned his grandfather's house and hung his father in Wartrace. He finally surrendered. Before this happened Lee had already surrendered, but they had not received word yet.
