@chargervol He'll go on like this until (he hopes) no one can remember that you were right the whole time and he was wrong. That's his move. Then when he starts a fight tomorrow, he'll say exactly what your point was today at the next person.

Not always about ranking though. More about getting who our staff originally wanted and we didn't get. We got some though and I always say wait till it's all over, but that is another metric to follow.

Ultimately was hoping for more at wr and pass rusher as our staff was.
Problem is we don't know who the staff really wanted that we didn't get. It's all speculation. We have to go by VQ or 247 to tell us who we wanted and who we missed on. I'm not convinced that is reliable information. I think we missed on Hardy for sure, seems obvious. Not convinced on Ox whether we wanted him or not.

I've said it before, I'm not concerned about recruiting. I think these guys can win with the guys they recruit. When they prove that, and they have some considering the last 2/3 of the season, recruiting will take care of itself. When we have players drafted, recruits will take notice. When folks quit worrying about how we finish in February, The VQ and 247 paper trophies, they'll enjoy Tennessee football recruiting much more.

If you’re not going Franchuse tag him, Need to sign him before Dak does bc that will set the market. He won’t ask for what Dak does but he will get close. If Dak gets 27/year majority guaranteed. Tannehill will ask for 23-25.

Bucs are in same spot with Jameis
Dak will probably get closer to 40 per. Qb franchise tag is probably over 30 by now.

Here’s the sad truth of this class:

Rogers plays us and picks Kentucky
Rakim Jarrett plays us and picks LSU
Hardy takes the bigger check from Auburn
Ojulari flips to LSU
Florida takes one of our better defense recruits and we replace him with a slower lesser talented kid
We spend a ton of resources on Kaho and Sewell only to strike out
We’re trying to steal Vandy recruits
We finally get a break and Pittman leaves, and we still get out recuited by UGA

Our top end recruits like Harrison, Hyatt, and Mayes will contribute in a few years, but we got a bunch of practice dummies and no instant impact guys... I expected more in year three, and I’m still wary we have Alabama guys in charge.
dang.

Sam Pittman on finebaum, why does he always look like he just got done swimming. Easy on the hair gel Sammy
I know he's not getting much time to make any hay at Arky, but the fact that UGA recruiting seems to be completely unaffected by Pittman's departure lends credence to belief that brand trumps staff reputation with the current generation of prospects.
