Building solid depth is the name of the game this year but we have lots of guys who think we should be in the top 5 every year. They'll learnPersonally, I think this class is solid. I don't think it will be the reason we compete for the SEC East in the next couple year (if we get to that point). IMO, I think the staff did well addressing the interior of the OL given the age, tranfers, and Trey Smith at those positions. I also think landing Harrison Bailey is very important. QB is the most important position on the team, and the staff got a really good one to add to an already solid group. I think we should have done better at the skill positions like RB and WR, especially WR. We get Palmer back, but the rest of the group is not proven and inexperienced. No real point in me addressing the defense because we return so many important players next year, and this class has several solid or really good players that will play at each level of the defense.
They did. I bet without those two games this is a top 10 class. But they happened, and we can’t change them. I think TN will get better with this class, but we’ll have to do better to compete for championships imo.Damn it @Bassmaster_Vol BYU and GA st hurt us...I’m ready for the top 5 classes to happen man...hopefully soon.
Idk, Bass. You really think a couple of no name wins takes away the shine of LSU at the moment? I think it had no effect. Except for what fans say because they can figure out to say it. I think we'll be fine. Edit: Actually I think the big thing that hurt us was the refs at bammer, because that was a signature win in the making. But imma let that go, too. They did. Idk, I think it hurt some momentum we had with some higher ranked prospects at the time.Idk, Bass. You really think a couple of no name wins takes away the shine of LSU at the moment? Come on now, he beat Bama, UGA, Fla, and Ole Miss for good measure ...What a load of The dude is blowhard scumbag...I ain't ever forgiving that crap..Ogre got what he deserved, and now he is a pathetic figurehead that is paid to yell intelligible mumbo jumbo rah rah yawyaw a lot...
Gotta give him props for being in the right place at right time, and having a AD that hires good coordinators that actually run the show, but when he inevitably loses his OC and DC...he is toast.
