Nieds is in a fantastic place to better his career. His HC and DC are two of the best defensive coordinators in college football. His OC is arguably one of the best to ever do it, and his AD is one of the top 10 head coaches in SEC history. He's coaching a position group, getting paid well and making a big time name as a recruiter for himself.

DWA will likely get drafted, Lowe is a 4 star recruit from last class that should be able to develop into a good TE and possible NFL talent. And if he lands Washington he'll have one of the most freak TE prospects to ever come to UT.
Chaney is certainly good but to say he’s one of the best to ever to do it is way too far west.

If Niedermeyer were to leave I don’t think it would be as big of a deal as people are making it out to be. Doesn’t bring a whole lot on the field and with our budget we can hire a suitable replacement who would probably be better on the field.

he's the best recruiter on the staff by a WIIIIIIIIIDE margin, and it's well known that pruitt values that skill a great deal, as much, maybe more, than the actual coaching.

Everyone is freaking out about the possibility of Nieds leaving because he’s “the best recruiter on staff”. But let’s be real, not one of us knew he even existed 2.5 years ago and most were pissed when he was hired because “he can’t recruit with the big dogs”.

If Nieds leaves I’m confident Pruitt will find another ace recruiter (that we may or may not know) to fill his spot.

Best part about ESD so far for me...

On 247 we're 15th with 21 signed. Michigan is 12th with 26 commits, Penn State is 13th with 27 commits, Florida has 24 (and 2 transfers incoming that may count), Auburn has 24 (and 22 signed), Washington (has 22)

With Hardy alone we'd jump to 12th right now in the 247 rankings. And we may see more growth in our ratings from player bumps as well, since Rivals has us 9th.

Depending on who we land, still top 10 finish in the 247 rankings is possible.

I also ain't entirely sold that we don't make a big push for Burch too.
