Since you responded, how many times did production slow down waiting for the Union specialist to get finished with his mandatory break so that he could change the light bulb? I'm glad you're enjoying your retirement. This isn’t place for this discussion. But I can’t let this pass
Glitch, some of your post is semi accurate but if not for unions, we all would be working for pennies, 60+ hours a week, no holidays, no medical benefits, no retirement nothing but work. Just like third world.
Yes disparity between workers can be frustrating but it’s management responsible to manage their workers. I’m a proud IBEW member enjoying my retirement and I hope your Dad enjoys his.
Tennessee is a “right to work”for less state
Let all be free to choose, the USA is great

Anyone have recommendations for good meals in downtown Louisville? Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. TIA
Some we've enjoyed there (all were for dinner):
Havana Rumba (not downtown, but more than one location)
Troll Pub Under the Bridge (is downtown)
The Irish Rover (not downtown)
Schimpff's Confectionery across the bridge in Jeffersonville, Indiana is worth a visit. Don't take the interstate across. It's a toll (which should not be legal for an interestate)
Oh but it does. An opportunity to play on national TV - the exposure is definitely of value. They get to play on national TV because of all the people they play in front of. What kind of NFL contract do you think they’d get playing on a playground with on one watching?I’m assuming you didn’t play D1 collegiate sports, there’s a lot of broke people walking around with no time to do anything.
Playing in front of people Has no monetary value. If they got their fair share of this, they would have access to all of that with a safety net for putting their bodies on the line for the opportunity to one day get paid for their talents.
I am going to try to find me a reliable used truck soon for 10- 12,000 just to go camping, and on trips because I don't want to get fifty miles from civilization in the Rockies and my vehicle break down..there is a practical purpose for that..but I will never spend much more than 1-2000 on a get around town and drive to work car again...I don't care how poor people think I am because I drive a car that looks like it belongs in a scrapyard. That’s where I am. Cars are such a waste of money. I have a nice one for my family, but my last two cars - a 1992 Honda Civic hatchback that I bought used for $1,500, and then pushed past 300,000 miles (and then sold for $1500) and a 2007 Ford Edge that is on the cusp of 200,000. Hate the idea of spending money on a car.
Bubba Miller.Board question: who is your favorite VFL that you wouldn’t consider an absolute superstar. No Peyton’s, Reggie’s, Eric Berry’s, that Ilk.
Mine is Deon Grant.....and it ain’t close
That is how they are sucking us idiots into paying those crazy total prices on vehicles imo. They are pushing out to 7-10 years on financing..and some of us idiots are lapping it up.And credit is easier to get than ever...
They always play sloppy. Very disappointing that KJH isn’t getting it through their thick heads to be smarter with the ball. When I get to watch them, they turn the ball over so much, and it’s because of careless ball handling. If they would protect the ball and cut their turnovers in half, they would be a much better team. For any that care, the ladies played a sloppy first quarter. Bad passing and no lane defense. They tightened that up and took the lead. They never played at 100%, but they controlled the game for the most part. Though they never could quite break away.
Vandy just isn't a very good team, but they were pretty scrappy. Tennessee killed them in the boards, and that made most of the difference. Vandy looked pretty gassed at the end when Tennessee finally established a decent lead.
They'll need a more complete effort against South Carolina this weekend.
Mrs. Mullen doing Florida Fresh commercials? So there’s a thing the womenfolk do to show off their newly minted nails...they use a “nail prop.” It’s basically holding something in your hand for the picture of the nails. Well, my wife showed me this one and I died.
