Chitlins by any other name would smell just as bad
Not Netflix, but I just got done watching The Americans on Amazon Prime and it is one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. It stays strong through all six seasons and really sticks the landing with the series finale.Good Netflix series to binge? We have just got through Schitts Creek, orange is the new black, and we’re thinking Ozark or Narcos.
Oh I agree with that..I am just not completely banking on it, however it would surprise me more if he wasn't a good all around coach. I have just developed a very large "wait and see" cynicism over the last decade+.Well being a successful HC at two different stops makes me think he can teach some fundamentals too, and people in the know say he’s a top recruiter already. Will be excited to see how well he does.
I had an Kentuckidiot client a couple of weeks ago tell me all about how their recruiting class was sooo much better than ours and how they took so many great players away from us, and Stoops was going to be beating us and UF on the regular soon...Kentucky fans are the worst in the SEC. my friends trying to explain to me at the lunch table how they are the superior team in basketball and football. I understand Florida and Alabama fans talking crap but Kentucky.
And this was before the offering?I had an Kentuckidiot client a couple of weeks ago tell me all about how their recruiting class was sooo much better than ours and how they took so many great players away from us, and Stoops was going to be beating us and UF on the regular soon...
I laughed and said.."Are you talking about Rodgers, Rybka and Oxendine?"..and then horse laughed him to his face and told him "If y'all couldn't beat Pruitt with your two best teams in the last 30 years, you sure ain't gonna beat him from now on...Stoops blew his two best shots at hom"....Then he actually turned bright red and started yelling at me with spittle flying....It was glorious...the madder he got, the more I laughed..
None of those guys could have played in the NFL right away. Almost no 17-18 year old HS kids are physically ready yet, but I think the NFL needs their own farm system like MLB so we can do away with this endless ignorant "pay the players" garbage.Clowney.. he could’ve played in the NfL immediatley. Eric berry, trey smith, Trevor Lawrence, cam newton could’ve, there’s actually a lot out there.
I don’t see the harm in being able to enter yourself in the draft after high school and at Any point In college... if you don’t get drafted, then you can come back or sign with a college.
Clowney wasn't either imo.Ok,
1. We can't say for sure that their training in the NCAA didn't help catapult them to their success the NFL
2. To expect a senior in HS to contribute to an NFL team against grown MEN at the same level they do a college team against people their own age is hilarious
3. Clowney is the only one on that list that qualifies at all, Lawrence got rattled in the Championship game just this year, imagine what an NFL defense would do to him
and on top of all that I'm pretty sure the NFL sets the mandate for Draft Eligible players, not the NCAA
