We made one less basket 27-28
Made 5 more 3’s. 10-5
Get outshot 13-30 from free throw line. There is your difference. Starters have to sit, no rhythm for them to settle into and how do you defend when they call everything against you. If I am frustrated how do you think players feel?

We are not a tournament team. The league knows this. MSU is a bubble team. They know a loss would hurt their chances. They were never going to let us win that game.

I have turned a Tennessee game off for the first time in my life. Can’t stand to watch officiating screw us any more. Give up a 3 because they didn’t call moving screen. Nothing will change until someone calls out officials in a press conference and makes a big deal out of it.

Unfortunately, Rick won’t do that. It seems we are too scared to call out the refs on any level. What he needs to do is let them have it on the court and get a technical.

I see your point but go back to the last 2 games. 6 point loss to Kansas and Texas am. We get outshot 17. If not for that we win both of those. TAM is not either but they got a good whistle. We we i last 4 out going into that game.

The difference in free throw attempts is bad and should never happen so consistently. The game is played as physically as the refs allow and usually played equally physical on each end of the court. Fouls and free throws should reflect that most the time, especially when two teams play pretty similar styles.

One thing I’d like to see is getting our 7’ man in more post up opportunities. When he does he’s a mile away? Needs to be fighting for position and posting up about 2’ from the basket. Just don’t understand. 7’ with good position should be a definite go to. Money imo

That’s on Uros to get position. He needs to work on his post moves as well. An off season will be good for him.

I think the TAMU game was a case of a personal vendetta against Barnes/Vols by the ref(s). Kansas is a Blueblood that will always get the calls.

Good Netflix series to binge? We have just got through Schitts Creek, orange is the new black, and we’re thinking Ozark or Narcos.

Late to the party, but Ozarks is a must see. Narcos, depends on the season. First few are absolutely great, then it tailed off some imo. But when they are following the Escobar story it is top notch. Watch them, at least.
