In research we see keto vs. non-keto diets essentially have equal results when protein is matched and you account for the initial drop of glycogen (carbohydrate stored in the muscles and liver) you experience when you begin a low carb diet. That said, chasing ketosis for the sake of ketosis is kind of like assuming your running shoes are the reason a new runner is losing weight. The shoes are coming along for the ride, but it's not the mechanism that's responsible.
The only reason I’m such a fan of ketosis is because I know how effective it is for me. I’ve never had such mental clarity and energy as when I’m in ketosis. I hate how sluggish carbs make me. It’s all pretty anecdotal for me. I do believe a low carb diet will help almost anyone lose weight though, but I don’t pretend like it’s the only way. I just know that I feel most optimized on a keto lifestyle. Artificial sweeteners have never knocked me out of ketosis btw which is nice!

If your subpar game is 25/40 for 290 yard with 2 TDs and a rushing TD against the leagues best defense (they gave up ~160yards passing per game) you’re probably pretty freakin good.

Right. As long as he stays hungry, he’s gonna stay on top for a looooong time.

Yeah, definitely different opinions on what is entertaining, and America is not great because of one group of people, but because we blended many different nationalities into one new nationality that is unique in that it is both one culture and many cultures. Unfortunately in order to have the one culture that is American one language must be used and that is English.

I do agree that everyone who wants to live here should learn English but I have no issue with them speaking their native language with their families, in performances, etc.

I'm also of the belief that a foreign language should be mandatory starting in primary school.

I have a very ambiguous feeling about the halftime show..I really understand why they would present Latin music at a Miami Super Bowl, and I get why it felt like an aggressive political agenda was being pushed also.

I enjoy that kind of music sometimes and love it's energy, but I also got a bad feeling about a performance with an hyper sexualized performance including little girls..what message does that send?

I don't know how I really feel about it...I enjoyed parts of it and disliked parts of it 🤷‍♂️

I don't know who you're talking about because I probably have him on ignore
I would say hewas probably the type to have sex with anything that walked on two legs. And even at that sex for him was probably a domination game more than social experience

Sex as a social experience? Better wear a “raincoat “ socially transmitted infections are on the rise again...HIV drug advertising that it’s okay to have unprotected social experiences...be careful about who you socialize with! 😳🙏

I don't agree. It's a performance prop.

People capitalizing off good looks is a part of life. I don't ever hear anyone say a good looking guy can't be taken seriously if he takes his shirt off.

A woman dressing well and being beautiful is different than swinging on a stripper pole. One is easy to take seriously and the other makes you want to ask for a lap dance or more.

Respect is earned. Common sense. A person who commands respect does so through confidence in how they carry themselves and interact. /thread

Nice non-zealot post. As you said it is one of many valid options

I think it’s personal opinion, and I agree about the capitalizing on it statement. However a good looking guy taking his shirt off outside of a body of water ( beach, pool) is probably being a douche bag. Which is the male equivalent of not being taken seriously.
