I think the NCAA should consider just one football signing day in December and not have two signing days any longer. Really took the excitement out of the regular signing day tomorrow.

Also, the NCAA should adopt players being allowed ONLY one transfer without penalties during their eligibility and get rid of the transfer portal which has become a nightmare with players leaving left and right everyday and some transferring twice and I even think three times during their 4 or 5 years. This is getting ridiculous! This would be for all sports of course.

I have had a little bald spot on the top of my head for a few years. Even if something like Bosley worked great everybody would know I did something. I joke around and tease people a lot so I would mostly get this reaction.

It's what can happen when you hire someone with no prior college administrative or coaching experience. As Fulmer has shown, you don't need the administrative experience, but Fulmer has been around college athletics for years. But, Turner had only been in leadership in the pro game or had been a consultant with a pro media group. Money was no object to him.

As I understand that, he blew through an EXCESS $17M since it was a "rainy day fund." The man blew through the entire budget and $17M in savings and was running the department into massive debt.

Lead SID for football the past 3 years. He came in my first year as a student volunteer in the media relations office at UT. Good guy that did a good job, though he could be a bit intense at times.
