if they lost their football contracts they would completely collapse. It's also not like other networks wouldn't love those contracts. Football ain't going away no matter what happens to ESPN, so they can take their annoying politically driven content and shove it!Everyone always celebrates the decline of ESPN which shows me football games.

Adding just Beckwith adds 2 points and leaves us at 14th fwiw. May get jumped by a team like ND with only 17 commits. Really need Wideman too to get up and stay in the 10-13 range. Can't get any higher than 10th, probably more like 11th, without Evans.Class is good no matter what happens today. Landing Beckwith would be big though and keep us in that 11-13 range. Adding Wideman as well could push us into top 10.
I agree with you about Gaines. And, though I think the officiating evened out (maybe even tilted in our favor), Gaines got screwed on two bullish!t calls. Freakin’ bam fell onto him while he dove for that loose ball and they call it on him. SMHOne smart move from Barnes this game - giving Gaines more minutes. His hustle and defense really helped in the 2nd half. Overall team effort was much better in the 2nd half.
I could see what Barnes wanted in the first half - use our size advantage inside. We just aren’t good enough at the simple things. We make passing into the post look like the most difficult play in all of basketball.
Also, when will Bowden realize he is so much more effective when he attacks off the dribble? He needs to understand quicker when shots aren’t falling. JMO.
For those not in the Wideman thread:
