More 2020 Roster notes:
  • Right now, and as soon as the remaining 2020 signees report, we will have 41 blue chip players on our 2020 roster, five 5-stars (4 on the OL and 1 on the DL) and thirty-six 4-stars. Of those blue chip players Pruitt has brought in 37 and 4 are left over from the previous staff, Guarantano, Trey Smith, Chandler, and Fils-Aime.
  • I don’t know the exact number of scholarships because I don’t know how many of the transfers were awarded scholarships. If they all were awarded scholarships then we’re at 91. 69 of those were signed by Pruitt and 22 were signed by the previous staff.
  • We have 25 seniors or redshirt seniors on our roster for this year, 14 signed by the previous staff and 11 are Pruitt’s guys (Juco and transfer guys).
  • Assuming no changes, there will only be 5 guys remaining on the roster next year (2021) that were signed by the previous staff, Labruzza, Bennett, Page III, Calbert, and Fant.
  • Our blue chips break down like this, DB = 5, DL = 6, LB = 8, OL = 8, QB = 3, RB = 4, TE = 2, and WR = 5.

I went back and looked at all of our current commits twitters. The following guys are not joining in on all the fun:

- Roc Taylor
- Nate Evans
- Jay Jones
- Darrell Jackson (although he has posted recent Vol stuff)

Obviously this is not a direct reflection of who may decommit and/or get the git. However, I did find it interesting.

Oh, just great. I’ve seen a few post their age through out the day and learned I might be older than most of the posters here. Time for me to take my Geritol and go to bed.

Jackson has been commenting on, liking and recruiting on twitter. Not sure I’ve seen any of the others.
