I actually like the move of Allen to TE. He wasn’t going to make it as a DE. He is a very athletic kid though and has the size we need for blocking. Also, he understands defense and should be able to anticipate and handle blitz pickups etc.

He is a guy that could actually do damage if he releases for a pass. I honestly think he will do better then DWA did.

I just don’t see it. Maybe next year. But not getting the spring to work at TE will undermine whatever chances he had. JMO

Of course I’ll be rooting for the young man. Seems like an awesome kid and comes from a good family. I’m just calling it as I see it.
