There were sooo many "worst calls of the year" type calls against us in that game...that you have to be either really dumb, or completely willingly blind because you just don't want to believe the integrity of the game has become that big of a joke to not know it is just the truth.

I think most naysayers fall in the latter category, which just enables the obvious corruption...in other words..It is why they continue to get away with it.

Did not see this posted in this thread. Evidently there’s a poll going on and it involves our future QB. You can vote as much as you want. He’s 6th from the bottom. Just hit refresh. Don’t know what it’s for. Don’t care. Just win, baby.

VYPE DFW Boys Jumper of the Year Fan Poll

Hey VN,
Kaidon Salter is only a couple thousand votes in the lead. We can do better...
It will help show the internet presence of VN and solidify our dominance to these recruits!
I have voted 100 times so far. Doesn’t take long at all. Unlimited votes by just refreshing the page after you vote.

I think Charlie Pell got Florida in trouble and made them ineligible for the SEC championship in 1985, thus opening the door for Sugar Vols.

Without his cheating, they wouldn’t have beaten the Vols that year and we would have been in the Sugar Bowl anyway. His cheating was so bad that they were caught mid year...

JG was throwing the ball well later in the year. I think he will do better this year with Recievers getting quicker separation. It should help him with his decision making.

JG's problem is that while he played very well at times during the 2nd half of last season, he has never been able to be consistent for a full 60-minute game, and without that consistency as QB I don't think we can beat the likes of OU, UF, UGA, and Bama. However, we were inconsistent running the ball last season as well, so if our OL is much improved this season in run blocking, as it should be, that could help JG in the passing game, but, I am not holding my breath since so much of his inconsistency is due to his mental game. IMO, our best chances for an 8+ win regular season are that one of the younger QBs shows that they understand what the defense is doing and can line the offense up properly.

I almost never cry about officiating because it usually evens out over a season. But the Vols got screwed this game and I may be naive, but I don't think it was on purpose, just bad luck and Bama benefit of the doubt privilege. Mac Jones was a deer in the headlights, it was the perfect storm and we blew it and the officiating didn't help

While it appears that we have some time between now and our next commit I got a question:

Which recruit of our 2020 WR class sees the field first and which one do you think will make the most impact in the 2020 season?

First to see the field: Jimmy Holiday
Most Impact: Malachi Wideman

Just looked at Athlons preseason top 25. They have Florida at 6...they know something we don’t know?
Had bama at 2, Oklahoma 4, UF 6, UGA 7.
VOLS weren’t mentioned, but had Iowa at 25 lol, speaking of Iowa...

I firmly believe we will see Jimmy Holiday early Week 1 and it will be on some form of jet sweep.

First to see the field: Lawrence day 1 starter opposite Bryce, Alontae starts at FS.

Most Impact: Lawrence proves to be the next stud SEC corner
