I really like 247's class calculator feature. Easy way to prove the rival fans that think our class is only rated high because we have 24 guys committed wrong. Go ahead and remove the bottom 8 guys. We are still ahead of Clemson for the 2nd best class right now with 16 commits instead of 24. Here is the breakdown for our current rank versus class size if you remove the lowest ranked commits first.

24 commits - 2nd
23- 2nd
...
16- 2nd
15- 3rd
14- 3rd
13- 4th
12- 4th
11- 6th (we finally drop below Florida who has 14 ranked commits)

It is and it isn’t. Have played it and like many Norman courses the run out is subtle. When it’s playing fast, which it wasn’t yesterday, the lines tighten up a lot and you have to hit the meat of the fairway. The greens are now smaller there since some enhancements were made.

The Reserve on Pawleys Island is very similar and you find yourself playing off the hard pan when you think you’ve hit a good ball.

It did look different than it did in ‘95
Would like to go back. Medalist and Loblolly Pines on consecutive days would be great again!!!

On Memorial Day I always remember my NAVY brothers. None of them died in the line of duty even though working the flight deck is the most dangerous job in the world (non-combat... I tip my cap). Have lost a few over the years sadly.
