Oh boy here we go. lol If he see's the field with the LB's coming in and missing a year then he will have climbed a big hill and I'm not pulling against him, we need him. Would make for some much needed depth in that position.

Meh He has so much catching up to do just in agility, football shape, and he has been at LB that long and if I remember correctly was having a hard time with alignments which is understandable moving from O to D but now a year out of it, I don't know. We got some good talent coming in this year. I'm afraid he will get lost in the shuffle if hold on to the LB's we have committed for 2021.

Where do you REMEMBER that? I don’t. Two more ints last year than Crouch and Peterson have in their careers in a lot less playing time. EVERYBODY is in catch up football shape mold and every remaining competition are high school freshmen with no offseason. Coaches ain’t got time to worry about FUTURE prospects...we’re doing THIS season.

He has been working on all the agility, football shape stuff since he was booted. Been working with a personal trainer pretty much the whole time.

The one thing I will say is if you watch the Chattanooga game again his issues were he was out of place a lot. I know he had the 3 interceptions, but he would not shoot the gaps and would not fill them when that was his job he would try and diagnose the play instead of just going where he needed to be. Other then that Banks has a good shot at starting. Dunno if he will but he will definitely fight for it.

Also, that was his first game playing significant time at LB and you can’t really fault him for the stuff above after one game. Gotta learn somewhere.

Whole team was a mess...he made plays they didn’t. Whole team got way better...prolly would’ve also.

LOL Worry about future prospects? Not my point. I have been on here with you to long to know where and how this conversation is going. So I am going to just say, I don't think JB is as accomplished at LB as you do and I believe we got some great talent at LB coming this year. Your last post told me, yup Butchna has gone Butchna and I'm not going to keep going back and forward with ya. To many other things to talk about on here.

I’m glad you quit...don’t need the background noise. I’m a fan of Eason and French and am sure they’ll eventually stake their claim. But Banks will make this a worthy conversation that “meh” won’t cover.
