Baseball would exist regardless of who the owns the teams. Let's not act like current MLB owners created baseball or their organizations. They didn't start a business and create new jobs (something I greatly respect). They just bought the orgs and the players that already had the job.
Your original point was, "The owners are the reason the players have jobs".It’s still a business. The owners can apply for re-location, can spend a lot of money, or not spend money. It’s up to them because it’s their asset. A new owner could add 200 new jobs to his organization.
The point is that without “owners”, there are no employees under them. It doesn’t matter “who” the owner is.
People are complaining about the minimum paid baseball player yet there have been millions of people laid off because the owner decided they couldn’t keep them right now.
