Question for you smart folks who are also RVers. Got an RV will be traveling/living in a few months at a time. What’s the best way to get tv, especially college football? I know satellite is an option but seems expensive, mainly because of equipment cost.
We have a winegard receiver mounted on the roof and we use Dish. You can “pause” the service when you aren’t using it for a pause rate of $5/month.

I’ve been looking into quarterback evaluations and while we tend to argue over stats there are other things to consider before stats even come into play.

Here is a list of areas which require attention when evaluating a quarterback
  • Footwork (attainable skill)
  • Fluidity (inherent trait)
  • Throwing mechanics (attainable skill)
  • Arm talent (inherent trait)
  • Quick release (inherent trait)
  • Reading a defense (attainable skill)
  • Mental processing ability & speed (inherent trait)
  • Accuracy throwing from different platforms (inherent trait)
  • Eye manipulation (attainable trait)
  • Poise in the pocket (inherent trait)
  • Clutch factor (inherent trait)
  • Decision making (There are different camps on this. Some say you either have it or will never have it. Others claim it can be taught and improved with enough experience).
  • Work ethic (inherent trait)
With that out of the way – now we can look at some stats. I’ve devised an evaluation system that awards points based on a comparison of the high school careers of our quarterbacks. I only have one year of stats for JT and none for Kasim so it’s really a comparison between Bailey, Maurer, and Guarantano.

I'll post the summary table first and the supporting tables below that.

As always, great stuff. It's crazy to look at this knowing that JG was rated higher coming out of high school especially since HB played against much tougher competition.

Has the Snafu been identified yet? Wonder if this is it.

It was said the snafu would involve an investigation and the issue could go away or result in a suspension or dismissal. Does this even sound remotely like something to do with a covid case to you? If it goes away, we will never hear about it. If it involves a suspension or dismissal, we will know when we know. It was slightly irresponsible to release the info and lead to endless speculation. I admire what AtlVol has done but I think this was a snafu on his part.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t read about the investigation part, but I haven’t been online much lately.

So, JG didn’t put up many points on fridays either. Looks like Pruitt’s old adage of “if they make plays on Fridays they’ll probably make plays on Saturdays” rings true for more than just DBs.

I don't normally comment when a kid decommits as it is their life and should go where they're comfortable but I can honestly say I do not care that Kamar is gone..
This kid has issues and we are better off without him..

You don’t get dismissed because of a positive covid test.

Irresponsible of ATL Vol bringing info or is it irresponsible of posters to lose their marbles trying to guess the details of the snafu?

Just let it play out. We’ll know or we won’t.
