Prayers for you allWould appreciate prayers, folks. I’ve mentioned on here before that my dad is battling dementia. He’s been struggling the past couple of days, so we had him taken to the emergency room. Just heard back that he has COVID. He’s not in distress. I would appreciate prayers that he continues not to be in distress and that my brother and I make the right decisions about his care.
You seriously are miserable person, sometimes. It could be raining gold nuggets and you’d be crying over some sandstone dust. Joking or not, triggering or not, you’re starting to piss off a lot of those who really like you. Just stop. Whether we think it will happen or not needs to not be even spoken about til it happens. End of story. That should be on the same page as blasphemy.2020-21: No football
Well I'm puzzled. You said, "In control of yourself being right and it mattering," in response to me stating I had no kids. I said it doesn't quite work that way but that I wished it did. To put it another way, I'm saying non-breeders don't get to control any of that. It would be awesome if we did. Were you trying to say something else? If so, I must've responded incorrectly because I thought you were saying we had that control.

I’m leaning more towards a spring season. A vaccine will exist by then and the existence of any kind of “medicine” greatly changes the outlook for an illness. I don’t believe Covid ever just goes away, but I do believe it will just become another Flu basically.
I dont plan on getting the first vaccine unless my job makes it mandatory. It's been rushed so fast no way its safe
I wouldn’t call an 10-16 month developed vaccine a rush to market. They’re testing multiple potential vaccines as we speak. I think it’s a risk worth taking anyway. You can’t allow something like this to own everything about daily life forever. The jelly backbone mentality isn’t helping. There’s a reason European countries are returning to somewhat normal already and we’re lagging behind horribly. We didn’t take strong enough action early, now we’re paying the price.A rushed to market vaccine scares the hell out of me, honestly. Has the potential to be much worse than the virus.
