I follow basketball recruiting fairly closely, and Mutombo didn’t appear to be a name at the top of the board for a while until the recent surge. I think Chandler’s and Meshack’s commitment helped the surge.

And when did they commit? Chandler...Aug 14. Mashack Sep 8. Bruin needs this to be one in the bag that we bumbled at the end. We prolly don’t disagree that much.

Good grief man. If you want to deny that national recruiting guys didn’t think he was going to be a vol then you would be wrong
