Pruitt quoted on Volreport--- " I thought offensively it was probably one of the better games we've played"..."We started running the ball at times pretty well, we protected pretty well".................... WTF!? Get this idiot out of here. The team didn't fight for their coach today because he's losing the team. They fought hard for him last year against Bama with less talent. He's screwed.

This really pisses me off. You can get away with this at Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, but not at a place that is starving for talent you refuse to play them because they haven’t earned it? Basically admitted our best players aren’t playing.

The best have to play, I don't care if someone does it in practice or in the film room better than others. This is a game of instinct and athleticism. If someone creates a spark get them in the damn game and find ways to feed them on the offense or defense.

It'll be interesting to see what this team like like the next three games. I think we'll have a pretty good idea which direction our program is headed under Pruitt at that time.

We aren’t running for a 9-10 win season if the year continues it’s current trajectory with JG and this defense keeps regressing. We will be salvaging a top 25 recruiting class and maybe make
A bowl next year, unless we find a way to win everything but Florida.
You say that like we didn’t do exactly this last year

They aint firing Pruitt. He could lose the rest and he gets next year. Fulmer just announced all AD staff were taking pay cuts. They're hurting for money.

Also, UT always waits at least one year too long to fire it's coaches. They want to make sure the program is burnt to the ground before they make a change to make sure no coach worth his weight in salt will take the job because there's literally nothing left to salvage. That means Pruitt's here at least two more seasons.

What's the general feeling here? Pruitt still got support?

He does from me. However, he needs to keep his nose out of anything involving the offense. Let Cheney or whoever run it. He needs to worry about the defense.

I seriously believe losing Fitzgerald in Strength and Conditioning has greatly impacted this year’s team. The toughness is gone from the past two years.

It is a big % though. My nearly 69 year old dad is sick of watching this crap.
We were sick of it in 2005 (or so we thought) and we were sick in 2008...REALLY sick in 2009...then 2012...and 17...and blah blah blah.

But being "sick of it" is a pretty vacuuous statement, unless one thinks the AD is just not trying or doesn't care. I certainly think Fulmer is doing anything and everything he can to succeed.

It's not like he and cjp are just sitting around on their laurels or don't understand expectations.

I actually agree with him that we ran the ball fine and we did protect Extremely well. It’s that part of the today that gives me real hope

the issue was the staff called a BS game and tried that stupid ass hurry up offense which was idiot.

The players deserved better coaching today as they did do some things upfront

I am convince Pruitt was behind the horrible play calling

You can hate Pruitt all you want right now but can we please stop calling him Bama Jeremy or insinuating he’s a spy for them? It’s beyond lazy and doesn’t make sense.

Do you think Clemson cares that “Bama Dabo” is coaching their team? Or Auburn cared about Pat Dye going to UGA? I didn’t hear anyone complaining that David Cutcliffe went to Bama.

Your right. No way CP gets fired this year. We can't afford another search until things get back to normal with a normal season. That will be CP's must win season or he is out after 4 years. I really hope we don't have to change coaches again but CP is doing some really weird coaching and decision making.

Clemson was never a rival of bama before the playoffs

Not a good comparison

Tenn fans will never give a bama the same patience they would give another coach.
They just won’t
