Sorry-- I didn't see your prior post. He didn't have support last carousel. And Sankey was very much against bringing him back to the SEC. Even Saban abided by that, which people "overlook" when they're slamming UT for doing the same thing. IDT he's unhirable at UT. People have very strong opinions about him, and he's divisive. We have a divisive guy right now, and that has caused all sorts of problems UT doesn't need.

Some consider Freeze high risk-high reward. Others just consider him high risk. But if UT brings him into the current environment, there's going to be instant conflict where UT needs no conflict at all.

Guess what resolves that real quick? W’s

If Freeze wins then everyone will back him despite what they thought when he was hired.

If I’m Auburn I realize no Saban assistant has ever beaten him and hire Tony Elliot from this list.

He’s been coaching college for like 20 years and only 3 of them have been under Saban, so it’s not like it’s the only job he’s ever had or even where he cut his teeth.

UF won the East back to back years averaging 23 ppg with Austin Appleby and Treon Harris. You can still do well, even very well, with a great defense. But you have to actually have a great defense...Nebraska and we do not.
