I really dont understand the Malzahn fascination. If you take that 1st year out he averaged almost 5 losses a year the last 7. After year one he lost 5, 6, 5, 4, 5, 4, and 4. That first year they were 12th in total offense, after they were 25th, 74th, 49th, 25th, 48th, 28th, and 87th.

He doesn’t advance a program. Every 3-4 seasons, he coaches up an upset and gets a big raise. Then the program coasts on meh. Yes he’s safe. Like the boring IT guy who provides for the wife who secretly can’t wait for him to die.

Since O9, it's only been a different school besides those there 3 times. Something needs to start giving or I can see myself slipping out of college football over the next few years. Already has begun. Barely watched any games this year compared to normal

Some current HC names to watch:
Jeff Brohm wants out of Purdue, we basically hired him last time.
Scott Satterfield wants out of Louisville.
Bryan Harsin has had beef with the Mountain West or whatever conference Boise is in, so he may be ready to move.

Satterfield loves Louisville last I heard.

None of these should be considered tho
