What are we even cheering for if we don’t respect our former/ current vols..... especially a Hall of Famer like Phil Fulmer..... I can respect what he means to Tennessee while still feeling that we need to move in a different direction. That was a lot of extra words to say you agree with me.
Also I don’t owe Phil anything.
I think its true. Might be naive but I mean Jay tweeted earlier this week about him fighting COVID with a Rocky gif & it makes sense if theyve all been around each other Pruitt or someone else caught it. I just fear that he could've taken the virus to his family for the funeral today. I don't think Pruitt is the guy but I definitely feel for the guy, rough couple of weeks.Everyone think it's true or an excuse?
I’m not going to check out but I’m definitely going to scale back my emotional attachment to UT football.I’ve been following the Vols since the early 80s. I’ve been on this board for 13 years. I’m die hard, not a casual fan.
but, I think I’m there - ready to check out. Don’t really care. I’ve withstood the ups and downs but at some point you realize - this is no longer worth my time.
I’m an optimist and I hope for an exciting change, but I’m also about two seconds away from just turning it all off.
Georgia fans couldn't wait to get rid of Richt. A large segment of UT fans worship Fulmer to this day, and he got his a$$ handed to him on a regular basis by the only real competition that he had in the conference at that time.“Mark Richt with a Natty” is probably the best compliment you can give a coach.
