Hubbs made a good point today on the Midday 180 in Nashville. It’s extremely difficult to find cause when firing someone. He said Currie was directly insubordinate of Davenport during the coaching search fiasco and he still got his buyout money.

Then pay him and send him on his way.

It’s also a slippery Slope on the with cause thing because Pruitt knows stuff about us that could get us in bigger trouble so pay him to go away and be quite.
 
Auburn Certainly could not have been that inept to fork out 21M to buy Gus out without having someone locked up?!?
But hey, they fired him so that must mean they're serious about winning. And we're not because we haven't yet fired our 3rd in 10 years or so.
 
Pruitt and Fulmer sold it as a 5 year rebuild. It was dumb then and its dumb now. But thats what I bet they're pushing now.
Yeah, during a rebuild you're not supposed to have a significant amount of regression in Year 3 results from the previous 2 years lol. If Pruitt would've beaten 2 out of Kentucky, Arkansas, and Auburn, he likely would've been safe.
