Sure, there's plenty of better options. But (a) will the UT AD make a concerted effort to hire better options, and (b) do the better options want to coach a program in the midst of a 15-year dumpster fire?

I think Auburn is all out of options and will have no choice but to have Freeze name his price.

If they can get him AND keep Steele...they will cause some problems together..Freeze is probably willing to keep on Steele and his defensive staff, so that is actually a great idea for them...it is kind of a perfect fit.

Our classes have been better than Ky's and AR's every year for a while now. How's that worked out? We can get the number one class every year and if we squander it, it doesn't matter.

Exactly why we need to move on. Our coaching and development is terrible. Screw recruiting. That usually takes care of itself with winning. Our problem is a severe lack of development and that isn’t changing by keeping Pruitt.
