Not sure if this is related or not but on Fanrun's show The Drive a couple weeks ago they were talking about Pruitt. His previous positions at other universities came up. When they talked about the "real reason" for leaving FSU Trey Wallace specifically mentioned he wasn't going to discuss that. I hadn't really had time to dig into it but its made me wonder. Anybody know the "real reason" he left FSU?

Again not sure that is related to what they were talking about on TB's show.

My parents were going to drive I so I’m not alone but today my mom tested positive for the Vid and they won’t be able to come up. So this Christmas, I’ll have my 2 dogs and probably a lunch at Cracker Barrel. That being said, I’m blessed. Despite all the pain, there’s people out there who have it worst. It’s important to keep a positive perspective. I pray this is the best Christmas for all of you and no matter how bad it gets, choose joy.

If Friend is gone have you heard of any OL coach replacements? Has Pruitt been told not to hire anyone new yet?

Haven't heard any specific names yet. I don't know what Pruitt has or hasn't been told about filling any vacancies on his staff, but it would make sense that Tennessee would want to reach a final decision on Pruitt's fate before allowing any new assistants to sign contracts or anything like that.

So, it's pretty clear from all sides that no one knows what the hell is going on and no decision has been made about anything.

I would almost feel better if they had come out and said Pruitt is staying by now. The ineptitude of waiting around twiddling our thumbs is so insane.

There's not really a rush right now though. There's no one in the coaching search market we'd be competing with right now, and the hay is pretty much in the barn recruiting wise. At this point they could wait until after the first of the year to make a change if they wanted to.
