If Pruitt is our head coach next year...i hope there’s a chance that gus can replace Chaney as OC. I know that’s wishful thinking but that’s really the only way i could feel halfway decent about Pruitt leading our football program any more. He needs an experienced head coach to help with situations and managing a program and Gus would help tremendously in recruiting.
Apparently he has an experienced head coach helping him with the program.

We'll get rid of Fulmer and hire Currie 2.0. Careful what you wish for. Fulmer is the only guy over there who cares about winning football imo. They'll be quick to bring someone in that cares more about the amenities in Neyland than the football being played.

Our situation is:
- Fulmer wants to win (for personal reasons, mind you), but doesn’t know how to any more;
- the others may or may not know how to win, but it’s not a priority.

Bleak.

Let me put it to you this way. If Tesla offered you 500K a year salary and 500K in stock options and on the flip side Boeing (once traded at over 350 a share and now at 217 with potential more free fall) offered you 500K a year salary and 500K in stock options....which offer do you think you would take?
Tesla all day. I wish I had the smarts to have fun on the stock market.

So Fulmer hires a yes man from the get go and not a ball coach?
I mean a lot of people believe he maneuvered his way to being a head coach, then maneuvered his way to AD even though he has no experience, and it would explain his desire to keep Pruitt even with terrible results. Maybe he thinks fans will completely turn by Pitt next year and he can give himself the head coaching title for the rest of the season. Who knows.

I would tell Boeing that if they want me, I need 600k a year, and if I'm a 5 star employee who brings tremendous growth to their company, then they would say, that's worth it and pony up and not watch me go to Tesla.

I need this place...I haven't said anything about it before now, but my Dad is having multiple heart valve replacements on the 29th and the docs say he may not survive it, but if he doesn't have it he will not live more than a few months...

Our family has been absolutely brutalized this year, and I almost just expect the worst at this point..I need the catharsis that this joint provides me...it helps to blow off some steam.
🧡🙏

Could you imagine being hot sh!t in coaching circles with Sexton fluffing your ego and a fistful of natty rings, and then come in and have someone trying to micromanage you at every turn?

Maybe we are too hard in Pruitt for being flustered. Hell, a bunch of us might just prefer to go back to a peaceful life coaching five stars as DC for Bama, too.
"I don't have to put up with this sh*t, I can go back to Saban" cont. 'if I want to get micromanaged and told what to do.'

Maybe he was talking about Fulmer the whole time lol

If we move on from Fulmer, we need to go after Blackburn. He was always the answer. That's why they didn't want him

He is the one fighting to keep Pruitt. How in the world is that wanting to win? He was the one who was going to let Barnes walk too....

Another thing you have to think about is. Will I develop or bust. So investing money in me is also a risk.

We're also hearing a lot of this 3rd hand. We don't know how much this is true. We do know for a fact though that he wants to keep Pruitt. And I agree that is a mistake. But the last AD they hired over there went after freaking Schiano.

This. It's easy to say when I'm not contributing anything but why offer the same? When you're on a worse situation, you have to overpay

I have to disagree with you here. We couldn't do any worse than what we got and Fulmer is interested in reliving his coaching days through CP. lol And Bruin liked your post. kiss of death HAHA

And why haven’t we seen any outbreak of it with A&M afterwards View attachment 333728

There was a study that showed the virus isn’t spread actually playing football. SEC players wore devices for it. Other than tackling for a few seconds, most players are far apart.

Ross Dellenger did a big story on it.

Plus, TN has been the worst state with numbers, so it’s not surprising.

I really thought Randy Boyd would help stabilize the situation. Nope.

This.. Players know they will get developed and win at bama and the like.. At Tennessee? Not very likely at present.

Here is the issue.....not a single good coach that would make the fanbase happy will come work for Fulmer. All of the rumors about how he acts as the head coach still have not only gotten around but have been confirmed by the current staff and those things travel very fast. I am quite close with a few big name coaches that are no longer coaching and based on their opinion ...no well known coach will want to work for PF.
