Hate to hear that. Hope the hunt goes well and he kills a few. Enjoy all of those moments. Our plan is just to shoot a few ferrell hogs. Dad is getting worse and has to be on oxygen a lot so little physical stress as possible. May be his last opportunity.
TY for the update. I have been wondering but was afraid to ask.Merry Christmas, VolNation!
I really appreciate this site @Freak.Super jelly of you folks east of the plateau with all the beautiful snow.
But I’ll take what few flurries my boys were able to see before going to bed here in mid TN.
I wanted to share some uplifting news on Drew. He is a solid month into chemotherapy. He’s had some very scary moments of blood transfusions. But has rebounded the last week. His white blood cell count reached safe barriers enough for the oncologist to authorize him to be home for Christmas! Praise God!
He got home two days ago, and we were able to scrounge and get their house decorated for Christmas. Let’s pray he has a relaxed time at home and doesn’t have any scary moments before going home right after the new year.
I’d also like to thank @Z06VolinWV for some constructive conversations we’ve had about supplemental treatments. He’s really gone above and I appreciate ya brother!
If you’d like to continue to support his family please do so. Expenses will continue to pile up for the next four months.

I harvested one a couple years back. One of the guys that we were hunting with was a deer processor. He helped me field dress it and drag it out. It was a 200lb sow. I told him he could have it if he'd set aside a shoulder for me. Biggest mistake I've made when it comes to wild game. I smoked that shoulder and it was easily the best pork I'd eaten.Hate to hear that. Hope the hunt goes well and he kills a few. Enjoy all of those moments.
My FIL killed a couple this yr on his farm in Greene CO. Wild hog is good eating.
Funny how we read what we want to... I saw it's going to be Freeze with a nasty offensive.I would say a little north of downtown Knoxville, near Fountain Lanes off Broadway, we got about 4 inches of snow. What's crazy is how heavy the snow seems, really pulling down tree branches and wires. The Dog took his dogs for a walk and it's a wet snow, makes great snowballs, but was starting to get slushy, which means all that is going to freeze and probably be nasty in the morning. So, be careful u moran's if u have to drive around Knoxville, tomorrow. Once again, Merry Christmas and love your families and friends like this is your last Christmas
.....and our sorry azzes sit around griping about football....prayers for many, many more Christmases for Drew.Merry Christmas, VolNation!
