Just a number if you don’t care to look deeper. I have said my piece about it. If that was at UT or any high level P5 school, it’s terrible. But he had 4 years at Syracuse, which is the best run there in 22 years. He also was at two of the worst NFL franchises, where at the time, he had their best seasons in years. People just look at the surface, and that’s fine. I don’t care.

Freeze isn’t happening, and I believe Marrone is a better hire than Chadwell or Napier. He also has the ability to bring some really good coaches. It’s a Rick Barnes-type hire. Just my opinion, and I will leave it at that.

I get why someone wouldn’t love Marrone..... but acting like he’s a horrible hire is just silly. There’s way more to like about him than the dumbass were currently paying to pretend to be a head coach.

I wouldn't say WAY more. Marrone would not be a good hire.

Can’t blame kids for going there. Business decision. Saban takes the best in HS and develops them into NFL players.

I dont think anyone hates Steele. I just dont think a Steele-Pruitt combo is what anyone is looking for. Steele was pretty good at Auburn, but he was coaching a loaded defense with players much better than ours. Auburn probably should have been better on defense than they actually were with the defensive line they had last year.

I'm slightly drunk and haven't been following along, and maybe it's just the football coach in me..but if y'all ain't watching the coaches broadcast and listening to freeze breaking this game down you're missing out.

I turned it over at halftime. If you don't like Freeze, you need to watch him for a few minutes breaking down the game. He's sharp, personable, and would excite our fanbase.

2. @Austin_Price have you spoken to Coach Chadwell since the board has gone hysterical? I’ve noticed some of your posts and unless your friends with him, you’ve at least gauged his interest some how.
3. Do we take any signees that aren’t transfers for NSD?
4. How hard is Ansley looking at the NFL? What’s his NFL stock like: DB coach or Coordinator?

They invest money in the program and we don’t.

It's not just money.. We spend a lot of money. Bama is jut the "Borg" of college football. They are a collective. EVERYONE associated with the program is dedicated and pulls in the same direction or they are shown the door, quickly. Their admin and boosters behave as adults.

We DO NOT do that. To many little pissing matches, struggles for control and/or recognition.. Our admin and boosters act like children..

It's either that or they are just way smarter than we are..
