I figured it would be Friday or over the weekend. Got the NFL playoffs going on so firing CJP would not be as high profile. Plus students return the 20th, so they have got to do it before then. Then they'll appoint Steele or Ansley as interim while they conduct the search.Basilio blog
Friday Through Sunday ARE THE DAYS TO WATCH:Tennessee is scheduled to interview Jeremy Pruitt on Thursday ... From there the way this probably plays out is that Tennessee is more than likely to part ways with Pruitt within 24-36 hours of this interview. Our best guess here is that it's done on Friday or Saturday ... Again this is only a guess. Because we're dealing with Tennessee here ... And at Tennessee anything is possible.![]()
I can’t say whether or not either school was interested in him, but after what he did at Liberty, you don’t think any program at all reached out to him? Just because he didn’t interview anywhere, that we know of, doesn’t mean colleges weren’t blowing up his phone. He’s said it himself, he’s waiting on the job offer that makes his heart flutter. So every interview is public knowledge except for Freeze? You don’t have to be told anything, it obvious to anyone living in an alternate reality. Freeze ain’t getting any calls.
I'm sure there are people calling him but none of the open spots in the SEC are willing to take a chance on him.I can’t say whether or not either school was interested in him, but after what he did at Liberty, you don’t think any program at all reached out to him? Sorry...I have said several times..I would rather keep rolling the dice on really good mid-tier coaches that have built solid programs than boring, lifeless, garbage to mediocre NFL or CFB fired rejects.Still trying to figure out what train you're on.
