I mean that's an awfully easy set of dots to connect... Especially when you're already pushing a 'ut doesn't care' narrative.

Peyton has input. All Wilson has had input. Several vfls have had input in the past.

He picked two that hadn't. Shocker.

And that doesn't mean I don't agree on some level with the notion.

I think if Pruitt is let go, Steele will be the interim for this next season. If he does well, he’ll have that tag removed. If not, they’ll have a year to find a replacement. It’s too late in the process to be looking for a legitimate guy IMO.

I actually think it would be fine. Not sure people realize how good of a recruiter Steele is. Get him, Garner, and a couple other killers on staff and we’d be getting ready to set sail.

That’s not going to work for recruiting current players either. There is a reason you don’t see interims. It’s especially not going to work with the current transfer portal situation.
