If true, then there's no truth to Fulmer having lost the decision making power.
There really seem to be two very divergent camps of how this is going to go down. The Fulmer camp which distributes information thru his contacts and leaks that still won't commit to Pruitt being gone and continues to float underwhelming names for the HC position. All the folks who have "sources" in this group insist Fulmer is the decision maker and that role will remain unchanged. Then there's the camp that has insisted on Pruitt's replacement from the start, said that Fulmer will be at most a figurehead going forward and that the new coach must break the mold of our last three hires.
So which set of "influencers" will Boyd & Plowman side with? Interestingly enough, Camp Fulmer is doing all the talking, but their position continues to move (JP will be back, JP might be back, KS hired, Marrone or Chadwell could replace JP, etc). The other camp is being eerily silent.
Meanwhile, Rome burns and the smell of cooking flesh fills the nostrils of Vol fans everywhere. Oh the humanity!
