I think that's a little unfair until we know where it's going. While it has taken time, the end result is the most important. If you read her bio, she was a faculty member with the Haslam College of Business before her 9 years at Nebraska. I would guess she has an idea what UT football means to the state. She has a doctorate in management from Texas and an undergraduate degree from SMU. She is not dumb.
No one thinks she is dumb. But does she think football fans are dumb? Or is football dumb? We will have to wait and see on that.

@nicksjuzunk and my other workout bros/broettes, what is the best way to calculate/track your daily nutrients and diet info?

Why do you need to track? Eat when you are hungry. Load up on good red meat and plenty of protein. Avoid carbs as much as possible and make sure you are eating plenty of healthy fat such as butter. You will be aces.

LOL I never said she was dumb.... She doesn't fit the mold/profile of someone that seems to be interested in UT AD, instead seems to be more focused on our Academics.

Like I said, she was at UT years ago before going to Nebraska. It's not like she is a newbie. I also stated her intellect based on this being a sports board.

People can wear a mask whenever they want. They could have done it 5 years ago. At some point, they won't be mandated in certain places, but I will understand going forward why someone would wear one.
So when is a good time for folks to stop wearing masks? 3 years from now are we still going to have folks sporting a mask? It’s got to stop sooner or later. Might as well be now.

And...how do you know this? The job of every university Chancellor is to focus on academics with sports being important too.

Well boys my third and final furry friend (no not that kind) is being put down today at 430. He is the sweetest tabby cat you'll ever meet. He lived a helluva good long life though so I try not to be too upset about it.

sorry that sucks, never easy putting an animal down, I've had to do it three times.... how long do you think before you search out the "rebound/replacement" ?

My fear is we are going to pull a Matt Luke/Hugh Freeze.

Hire Kevin Steele as an "interim" while we all know he's going to get the full time job.

If true, then there's no truth to Fulmer having lost the decision making power.

There really seem to be two very divergent camps of how this is going to go down. The Fulmer camp which distributes information thru his contacts and leaks that still won't commit to Pruitt being gone and continues to float underwhelming names for the HC position. All the folks who have "sources" in this group insist Fulmer is the decision maker and that role will remain unchanged. Then there's the camp that has insisted on Pruitt's replacement from the start, said that Fulmer will be at most a figurehead going forward and that the new coach must break the mold of our last three hires.

So which set of "influencers" will Boyd & Plowman side with? Interestingly enough, Camp Fulmer is doing all the talking, but their position continues to move (JP will be back, JP might be back, KS hired, Marrone or Chadwell could replace JP, etc). The other camp is being eerily silent.

Meanwhile, Rome burns and the smell of cooking flesh fills the nostrils of Vol fans everywhere. Oh the humanity!

I don't give a crap where the next coach is from, or what accent he has...I want a lively, energetic and high ceiling guy for the next go-round and every round after that until we get lucky and find our Matt Campbell.

All any of these boring lifeless rejects do is guarantee more of the same or slightly better.

Row The Boat down the Tennessee River!

Fulmer is playing the fiddle.
